Charity Davis-Woodard

Fired in a wood-burning kiln, this pottery has a unique color and texture as a result of the wood ash that fuses to the clay and the glaze. Some of the pieces have small metal components or detailed elements which serve as a counterpoint to the soft volume and gesture of the clay.
