Laurie Blaes

"Currently, I am investigating my connection to objects used in the past. Each object contains a history and bares the marks of its use. I am exploring the relationship of my three-sided shape to the physical aspects of these objects. The objects spark warm memories of my grandmother, great uncles and aunts, who have greatly influenced my appreciation for items used in every day life."
