Dan Anderson

Anderson’s work is a continuation of an evolution of clay work which utilizes architectural elements as rootstocks for the pieces. By translating the water towers, barns, silos, granaries, and factories into three-dimensional clay objects they become "richly poetic" as a result of the way the abstract geometric shapes and surface textures combine.
